4° (389 x 308mm). 29 stipple engravings, aquatint or mezzotint plates, including frontispiece, partially printed in colour and finished by hand, and 2 plain mezzotint plates. (Lacking engraved title on 2 leaves, lightly browned throughout, light marginal spotting and thumb-soiling.) Contemporary tree calf (rebacked, extremities lightly rubbed, a few scuff marks on covers). Provenance: Caroline Wigley, 10 Grosvenor Square (inscription on title).

The smaller formatted edition of the Temple of Flora, this copy contains an additional plate, 'Persian Cyclamen' not called for by Dunthorpe. 'No two copies [of the Temple of Flora] are alike because the plates were engraved by various processes, the impressions taken from them printed in colour and finished by hand, and altered in several instances' (Stafleu & Cowan).
