65 chromolithographs (380 x 545mm), some of these folding, after M. Villie, V. Andreev, and others, each tipped onto a strong card mount, printed caption ticket in Russian and French pasted on the verso of each mount. (Some mounts faded and worn near the edges, occasional spotting mostly in the mount, plate I lightly soiled.)

FIRST EDITION of this sumptuous collection of fine chromolithographs recording treasures in leading Russian collections; primarily 17th- and 18th-century objects, including: clocks and chandeliers from the Winter Palace, furniture from Tsarskoe Selo and The Hermitage, including an intricately worked steel table made for Catherine II, a toy doll having belonged to Empress Elizabeth, and many others.
