IN A FINE BINDING BY SELENKA. One of only 200 copies printed, of which 100 for sale. Letronne considers the epigraphy of the phenomenon associated with the Theban colossus known as the Vocal Memnon, so named because of a harmonious rumbling which seemed to emanate from this statue.
