AMMAN, Jost (1539-1591). Kunstbüchlin. Frankfurt: Johann Feyrabends,1599. Small 4° (195 x 150mm). With both blanks. Title in red and black. 293 full-page woodcuts. (The sheets for gatherings S and Kk loosely inserted, some of these varying in sizes and possibly inserted from another copy, some soiling, a few marginal tears, one of these reaching into the plate.) Later limp vellum using a liturgical leaf printed in red and black (heavy soiling, lacking some ties); buckram clamshell case. Provenance: Princes of Liechtenstein (19th-century bookplate) -- Boston University (booklabel; deaccession letter provided).
