This pair of tables are inspired by a 'Sheveret' featured in Thomas Sheraton's The Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Drawing Book, 1793 (pl.50).

Each crossbanded overall in calamander, the removable top-section with arched handle and two short and one long mahogany-lined drawer with later ivory handles, the stand with a mahogany-lined frieze drawer, on square tapering legs with spade feet, joined by a concave fronted undertier, later handles, one with replacements to feet, one long drawer previously a slide
