The rectangular top with rounded leaves above two frieze drawers and opposing false drawers on tapering end supports joined by an arched stretcher, with sabre legs and barrel feet with brass caps and castors, one drawer with handwritten label 'PROPERTY OF H.S. GREY', the other labelled 'ANN KESSLER', the carcase reduced in width by 3/8 in. (1 cm.), the redundant dovetail at the side of one drawer indicative of a change of heart at the time of construction, the flaps relaid
