With tapering barrels chiselled in low relief over the breeches, the muzzles sheathed in silver chased with panels of foliage and also incorporating silver false ramrods, bevelled locks cut with foliage and scrollwork en suite with the breeches, carved walnut stocks, the butts overlaid about the barrel tangs with large silver panels pierced and engraved with scrolls (wire inlay missing), chiselled iron trigger-guard (one missing), large silver pommels cast in relief with trophies and scrolls and fitted with demon mask caps, pierced silver side-plates, and silver decorative figural escutcheons.
