A very rare bird's-eye view of the jousts and equestrian games famously held in the Carriere in Nancy. Meaume notes that this print often appears in Le Triomphe de Charles IV, Duke of Lorraine (1604-1675) but it was probably produced twenty or thirty years later. Meaume, Deruet, no. 5 (apparently second state, with word "guerier" in smaller letters on first line of upper right cartouche).
