A description of the festivities held in Palma de Mallorca to celebrate the ascension to the Spanish throne of FERDINAND VI (1713-1759) upon the death of his father Philip V in 1746. The fête was held in January 1747, and the work provides a day-to-day account of the proceedings including processions, fireworks, a circus, musical and theatrical performances, and representations from the local trade guilds.
