A French silver oil-and vinegar stand with two cut-glass bottles and stoppers
Maker's mark D. Garreau, Paris, 1809/1819
On rectangular base, with foliate pierced rim, on four claw feet sutmounted by lion masks, with typical motifs decorated all-over, the tapering-shaped and pierced bottle holders depicting putti on dogs back, centred by a plain column-shaped handle with draperies and two putti and ring handle with dog finial, with two later partly blue cut-glass bootles and stoppers
