The reason for that is simple: this is the collection of a consignor who loved her wines, drank them, and was meticulous about buying and storing them. The Christie's Wine Department felt that this would be an ideal consignment for The Hamptons Sale. Fine wines, from great vintages, meticulously curated and stored, but in manageable lots perfect for drinking over the summer.
