"Opulent, expressive and exotic with subtle botrytis notes and rich, full-bodied and sweet full bodied flavors that possess excellent definition by the standards of the vintage and culminate in a linear, spectacularly long finish. While mature in the sense that it will not improve, this has plenty of life left and should easily last another decade, perhaps even longer if well stored. In sum, a delicious, classy and refined Montrachet that is drinking impeccably well now and the only nit between this and true brilliance is the slight lack of that extra dimension of depth on the backend. Still, this is most impressive by any other standard. Consistent notes save for one bottle that seemed unduly fatigued." BH, Mar 1, 2008
