Of plain tapering form, the body with reeded bands and on spreading base, with shaped handle, engraved with text as a golf trophee, inscribed subscription: "Prize won by James B. Fortune, 1878", the emblem above with spreaded stork holding a branche and surrounded by a medallion shaped as a clasp inscribed: "Liverpool Golf Club"
