Maker's mark Johann Andreas Gerardus l'Herminotte, Maestricht, 1758/60
The baluster-shaped lamp with ring and flowerhead finial, moulded and chased with shells, scrolls and leafage against snake skin ground, the waisted and fluted middle partly pierced and flanked by sprays of flowers, surmounted by three cherubs, each holding the chains for the upper part, conformingly shaped and decorated and with ring loop
