ATTRIBUTED TO FRANÇOIS LINKE, PARIS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The shaped rectangular parquetry top inlaid with a border of ribbon-entwined foliage, above a frieze applied with entwined laurel and floral chains, centred to the front and back with a jasperware plaque depicting Bacchic putti, the front fitted with a drawer, on cabriole legs headed by floral clasps, joined by a scrolled stretcher surmounted by a pierced basket and terminating in scrolled acanthus-cast sabots
