The breakfront brèche de Saint-Maximin marble top above an entrelac and scrolling acanthus frieze fitted with three drawers, over a pair of trellis parquetry drawers centred to the bottom by an acanthus mount, with similarly inlaid shaped sides, the rounded angles headed by laurel-festooned fluted clasps, on tapering legs and lion-paw feet; the top of the carcass stamped 'P. SORMANI/PARIS', the central drawer with brass plate engraved 'PAUL SORMANI/10, r. Charlot'
