Circa 1849 Guillaume Denière took over the Parisian business established by his father Jean-Francois Deninger (called Denière) in 1804. As Manufacture de bronzes d'art et d'objets d'ameublement they produced a variety of high quality decorative bronzes.
Under the Second Empire of Napoleon III (1852-1870), Denière supplied important commissions to the Mobilier de la Couronne (mainly clocks for the Tuileries), to Kisselef, the Russian Ambassador, and to Said Pasha, the viceroy of Egypt.
Records shown that the firm was active until 1903.
