A copy after the grotesque figures is in an album of drawings by Carlo Marchionni (1702-86) in the Louvre (inv. RF 42342). Marchionni executed many caricatures but also assembled an important collection of prints and drawings (B. Ledru, 'Carlo Marchionni (1702-1786): deux albums de dessins acquis par le départment des arts graphiques du Louvre', Revue du Louvre, 43, no. 3, 1993, pp. 28-40).
