The rectangular top with central engraved and pierced mounts of a winged figure surrounded by birds and stylised scrolling foliage, above a pair of similarly decorated cupboard doors enclosing an arrangement of four drawers, each with painted oval porcelain mounts, below a further frieze drawer on spirally turned legs joined by a shaped X-stretcher, one of the drawers to the interior bearing a paper label for 'A Türpe.Fabrique d'Ebeniste/Königl.Sächs. Hof-Kunst-Tischler/DRESDEN/Marienstrasse No.24. '
