MAKER'S MARK OF IH over M (ROSENBERG VOL. III, NO. 4288), NUREMBURG, CIRCA 1700
The sides chased with portrait busts of Roman emperors in profile; together with two small German silver-gilt beakers, Nuremberg, one with mark of Jakob Pfaff, circa 1680, the other with mark of Reinhold Reil, circa 1675-80, each on three ball feet, the sides chased with scrolling foliage and flowers, the latter engraved underneath the base with contemporary initials V:C:W:H
respectively 4¾ in. (9.5 cm.), 3¼ in. (8.4 cm.) and 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high
