Pear-shaped on collet foot, one side engraved with contemporary baroque coat-of-arms, the other with later crest and motto scroll, wood scroll handle

The crest is that of Temple, baronets of Stowe, Buckinghamshire. The arms are those of Grenville impaling Temple.
