the booklet, 1942, covers and four pages, with stencil-printed frontcover in colours, on used laid paper, with text by S. Vestdijk en F.R.A. Henkels, from the edition of 50, published by De Blauwe Schuit (Logboek 17), bound, inscribed in pencil eig. Sandberg on the backcover, a very small strip of numbered paper glued onto the backcover, small handling nicks at the spine, otherwise generally in very good condition

Due to papershortage during the second World War Werkman used for the present booklet the sheets of an hundred years old household record from the seminary in which the author was taken hostage by the German occupying forces.
In 1939 and 1941 Werkman met Willem Sandberg, director of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam who took great interest in his work
