Founded in 1992, Colgin soon became one of the most popular cult California names in very short order.
With Helen Turley at the helm to begin the wine-making, the producer was in excellent hands, and it's more recent history was been handled by one of her own protgs, Mark Aubert. Utilising classic fine wine production techniques of low yields and obsessive care of the fruit in the vineyard, Colgin makes spectacular wine - and it's most-renowned vineyard, Herb Lamb, only produces around 350 cases each vintage.
