Tibet, 18th/19th century
Seated on a lotus blossom, holding a vajra in his raised right hand and a skull cup in his left, with a khatvauga resting against his left shoulder, wearing diaphanous red and green robes, his benevolent expression surmounted by a jeweled and feathered headdress, backed by a nimbus and aureola and flanked by two bodhisattvas, each within their own aureolas, with a temple in the foreground and surrounded by monks performing duties, all against a mountainous setting
