Saint John Vineyard. Bottled in 1937. Mostly with small paper labels, some damaged, some with remains of labels only. Lots 60 to 63 have been re-corked and re-capsuled. Lots 64 to 66 and lot 68 have original corks and capsules. Lot 67 has seven bottles re-corked and re-capsuled and twelve with original corks and capsules
Tasting Note: Medium glowing orange tawny; sweet, meaty, high toned, yet a bouquet of great depth. On the palate great length. October 2008 **** MB
