With central baluster stem and hobnail knop terminal, the twelve notched double S-scroll arms with petal-cut drip pans, hung overall with chains of faceted beads and pendants

Lot Essay

The firm of F. & C. Osler Ltd was renowned for its production of impressive scale chandeliers from 1831. The current chandelier relates to a design by Herbert Pepper illustrated in their Electric Light Fittings catalogue of 1907, No. E1173, page 35-36.
