THREE GREEN JADE CURVED DAGGER PENDANTS
SHANG DYNASTY, CIRCA 1200-1100 BC
Comprising two single daggers of different sizes apparently carved from the same semi-translucent stone, both sides of each finely carved with parallel concave grooves within ridge borders, and beveled edges that continue from the notched end to just where the curved blade tapers to the sharp point; the third a similarly carved small double-dagger pendant, of semi-translucent olive stone; all drilled with biconical holes for suspension
