A ZHEJIANG CELADON CARVED FIVE-SPOUT JAR AND COVER
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 11TH-12TH CENTURY
The ovoid body carved above the foot with rows of overlapping petals rising towards the ribbed upper body carved with diagonal striations and demi-foliate sprays on the top rib between the five upright tubular spouts, the domed cover with everted rim and carved with narrow overlapping petals below the hollow knop, covered with a glaze of sea-green color
