A LARGE QINGBAI FUNERARY JAR AND COVER
13TH-14TH CENTURY
The lower ovoid body carved with bold peony scroll below a piecrust edge supporting thirteen mourning figures and the small arched body of a dragon, the tall ribbed neck encircled by the body of a large dragon and applied with the moon on a cloud, a dog, a bird and further figures standing on clouds, the conical cover surmounted by a crane, covered with a transparent glaze of pale blue-green color
