A BLUE AND WHITE SOFT PASTE OVOID JAR
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Painted in rich underglaze blue on one side with a five-clawed dragon pursuing a flaming pearl, while on the reverse five bats (wufu) soar against the ground of froth-capped waves executed in pale blue line, all between bands of key fret at the foot and encircling the short neck
10½ in. (26.7 cm.) high
