A SMALL HUANGHUALI, HUALI AND LACQUER SQUARE-CORNER CABINET, FANGJIAOGUI
18TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form with two doors fitted flush around the removable center stile and inlaid with mother-of-pearl depicting fruiting peach and blossoming branches on a black lacquer ground, the doors opening to reveal the shelved interior with two drawers, all above a further lacquer frieze inlaid with two floral sprays and a plain lacquered apron, the sides and back covered in black lacquer
24 in. (61 cm.) high, 18 7/8 in. (47.9 cm.) wide, 9½ in. (24.1 cm.) deep
