JERSEY, THE CRAFTSMEN JEAN LUCE AND J. CHAPPELL, 1855
The upper section with pointed arch glazing, the interior fitted with approximately one hundred numbered and identified Victorian taxidermy bird specimens, the lower section with boldly carved claw feet and frieze, the underside with makers pencil inscription 'Mr J Luce/Cabinet Maker/Jersey/1855' and 'J Chappell/Maker', with further indistinct chalk inscription 'Le Su...r/29.'
