A VICTORIAN SILVER TWO-HANDLED CUP AND COVER
MARK OF ROBERTS AND BELK, SHEFFIELD, 1863
Campana-shaped on naturalistic shaped circular pedestal foot, the lower body chased in relief with alternate flowers and acanthus leaves on a matt ground, the bifurcated handles modelled as vines which continue around the sides in chased vine leaves and pendant grape clusters, cover with equestrian finial, probably intended as a horse racing trophy
