Each of rectangular form, the pair of doors with a central ruyi-head medallion, finely inlaid with mother-of-pearl and various hardstones with scenes of the 'Western Paradise of Immortals', all reserved on a black lacquer ground, the aprons and sides further inlaid with flowers and birds

Provenance
With Mr. Herman Schneider (1889-1968), who's title before WW2 was "Inspecteur van de Generale Thesaurie in voormalig Nederlands-Indi." Which translated means Inspector to the General Treasury in Indonesia, then with the family until 2007.
