TWO CARVED AGATE SNUFF BOTTLES
1750-1880
Both of rounded-square form, one cleverly carved using the skin of the stone with a large cricket seated atop an open cricket cage, the creamy brown stone with some darker brown markings, glass stopper; the second bottle left undecorated to enhance the attractive natural cloudy markings in the stone, glass stopper
2¾ and 2 3/8 in. (7 and 6 cm.) high (2)
