A LARGE CLOISONNE ENAMEL CIRCULAR DISH
FIRST HALF 17TH CENTURY
Of shallow form with flat rim, the interior decorated with a pair of phoenixes, one perched on pierced rockwork amidst peony and magnolia, the other in flight above, all within bands of chrysanthemum heads and scrolling lotus, the exterior with a frieze of lotus scroll, raised on three shaped bracket feet
14½ in. (36.8 cm.) diam.
