A RARE PAIR OF LARGE CARVED IVORY TUSKS

Each intricately and deeply carved with numerous figures at various pursuits shown in scenes that ascend from the base to the tip, including officials, scholars, farmers, women, children, soldiers and animals, one also including an oval shield-shaped plaque carved with a European armorial that hangs from a ruyi-head hook below the tiled roof of a pavilion
