AN ARCHAISTIC INLAID BRONZE FACETED JAR AND COVER, FANGHU

Decorated with a band of taotie masks between pendent blades below and pairs of dragons confronted on masks applied to the shoulder on two sides and on stylized dragon handles on the narrow sides, with a further small handle on the lower body on one side, with flanges dividing the sides and at the corners, the cover decorated en suite, all inlaid in silver and gold and with green and reddish-brown patination
