A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS
18TH CENTURY
Seated in dhyanasana in front of a flaming mandorla on a rectangular plinth, the front draped in a long cloth with a flower head at its center, the figure with hands in dhyana mudra and dressed in robes draped over the left shoulder leaving the right exposed and wearing a jewelled necklace, the face with pensive expression beneath an elaborate tiered crown partially obscuring the hair which is pulled up in an elaborate coiffure
