A PAIR OF UNUSUAL BLUE AND WHITE SAUCER DISHES
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
Each with shallow rounded sides, the interior painted with a flowering prunus tree beneath a crescent moon, all within a double line border below pseudo lanca characters on the everted rim, which is painted on the underside with a band of classic scroll above a frieze of peony meander on the sides, apocryphal Xuande mark on the base
