A SET OF SIX SMALL MOTHER-OF-PEARL-INLAID BLACK LACQUER SQUARE DISHES
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
All with indented corners and finely inlaid in mother of pearl and gold with depictions of the various stages of silk manufacture, within narrow ruyi borders and below a narrow decorative band on the sides, raised on shallow bracket supports, each base inlaid in mother of pearl with a two-character inscription that relates to the depicted scene and a three-character seal mark, Zhong ya tang
