AN UNUSUAL FAMILE ROSE TURQUOISE-GROUND TRIPOD DISH AND A COVER
JIAQING GILT SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The shallow rounded sides rising to a molded ruyi-head rim and raised on three cabriole legs, decorated in rose, yellow and blue enamels, iron-red and gilt with formal lotus meander and bats, the feet further enriched with scrolling flowerheads, with a turquoise interior, the molded conical cover with concentric bands of bats and shou characters interspersed with lotus sprays below the gilt knop
4¾ in. (12 cm.) diam.
