Lot Essay

None of the Tournai faience productions were marked and doubt exists as to their identification. Its faience is said to have been imitated from Strasbourg, Rouen and Delft.
This figure was very inspired by the Ligurian faience produced by Giacomo Boselli in Savona (1765).
