A pair of large Strassbourg Joseph Hannong faience polychrome floral oval chargers
Circa 1771, marked in underglaze blue with a large H above 921, the other en suite above 146, further with a brown numeral 90, the other with 74 and impressed mark 176
(Plat oblong à bord contourné) Decorated with elaborate botanical flowers (fleurs naturelles), after a silver model (façon argent), the shaped border en suite and outlined in brown (one with tiny restored part to the edge)
