engraving with etching, aquatint and hand-coloring, circa 1836, on J Whatman watermark 1838, trimmed just within the platemark, the colors slightly attenuated, pale light- and time staining, occasional pinpoint foxing, soft handling creases and soft scratches in places, a 10½-in. area of rubbing at the left image edge, a few short tears in places at the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition, framed
