Buteo lagopus
engraving with etching, aquatint and hand-coloring, circa 1838, with hand-coloring, on J Whatman, with margins (very slightly trimmed), the colors very slightly attenuated, pale light-, mat and time staining, a few pale pinpoint foxmarks and minor surface soiling, a few short tears and minor tape remains in places at the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition, framed
