CIRCA 1910, GREEN PRINTED MARKS TO SOME PIECES
Each painted to the centre with a wreath framing a bird and flowers within petal shaped borders painted with bouquets above garlands, reserved on a blue ground decorated gilt with a band of concentric circles, gilt dentil rim
The plates 9¼ in. (23.5 cm.) diam.

Lot Essay

The present lot is of the same design as the part-service used aboard the Royal Yacht Osborne. Osborne was a wooden paddle yacht of 1,856 tons, launched in 1870 exclusively for Edward VII, when Prince of Wales.
