This manuscript can be identified as an abridgment of Ma'rifat al-Taqwim, a work in thirty chapters on literal numeration, calendars and astrological problems, or as Mukhtasar fi 'ilm al-tanjim wa ma'rifat al-taqwim, a concise book on the science of astrology and knowledge of the calendar, both of them by Nasir al-Din Tusi (Boris A. Rosenfeld, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Mathematicians, astronomers, and other scholars of Islamic civilization and their works, IRCICA, Istanbul, 2003, A16-17).
