Of rectangular form, the ground applied with green, blue, red, brown and white coarsely woven cotton, the main decoration in the form of a central niche containing a cusped medallion and surmounted on blue pillars, panels of geometric interlace on either side, the arch of the niche issuing palmettes which radiate into scrolling cusped leafy interlace, three square panels along the top, the central with a roundel design, flanked by star shaped geometric designs, each panel outlined with a band of blue and white S-shaped design and larger band of interlocking light and dark brown palmettes, dark blue borders, hanging hooks along the upper edge of the reverse, some areas of corrosion of the brown, some staining
