The case with five pineapple finials to the bell top, brass-pierced foliate quarter frets to the front door and similarly pierced sound frets to the sides, the dial now signed Eardleij Norton London on a silvered plaque in the arch flanked by later subsidiary silvered rings for tune selection and chime/not chime and having blue steel hands, the silvered Roman and Arabic chapter-disc with pierced blue steel hands and calendar aperture, later foliate spandrels, the massive six-pillar triple chain fusee movement with later anchor escapement, the added musical train music playing on ten bells via ten hammers with hour-strike on further bell, the backplate engraved with scrolling foliage and similarly engraved movement securing brackets to the case, the movement with alterations
